Bush Admin Slow to Respond to Rape of Woman Contractor Working for KBR in Iraq, Corp with deep connections to Cheney

ABC News reported last month that at least two female employees of the government contracting giant KBR had reported being raped or sexually assaulted; two years later, the report said, the alleged victims could not learn details of their cases or why they had not been prosecuted.

"We're pressing hard for answers," said a spokesman for Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla. Nelson wrote Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice last month requesting details on how many Americans in Iraq had reported being sexually assaulted or abused, how they were investigated, and if any had been recommended for prosecution.
