France braced for student protest

American students don't give a damn about anything. Bunch of slaves.
They just want to graduate and buy a McMansion and a Lincoln navigator with XM radio and televisions in the head rests. Kindness to the environment, you know.

Education in the US is such a failure, these kids don't realize the vast interconnectedness of all, and that it all, every bit of it, profoundly and constantly influences the quality and texture of their lives.

My brother in law told me he is taking my 12 and 10 year old nieces to a peace demonstration in Chicago this weekend. I'm very glad he's teaching them to be critical of authority. And Chicago demonstrations are feisty good fun.
