In Deregulation, Plants Turn Into Blue Chips

Deregulation: A Trade Scheme in which a given industry is freed from rules and regulations that protect the public in any way whatsoever. Is sold as a way to accelerate competition, but doesn't work that way. Works to suppress competition over the long haul.
