Bush: US troops to remain in Iraq until 'terrorists' defeated
President George W. Bush insisted that US troops would not pull out of Iraq before "the terrorists are defeated," a day after acknowledging a possible parallel between violence there and the Tet Offensive during the US war in Vietnam.

Since the occupation of Iraq guarantees endless escalation of terrorism, Bush is actually declaring a state of permanent war here.Not surprising, of course, given the profitability of "The War on Terror" for Bush, his family, their cronies and associates.
Permanent war also gives the dictator more excuse to further suppress civil rights, squash dissent and rid Americans of their liberties so that no one will be able to fight back against the super rich class warriors without the risk of being whisked off to a gulag in Guantanamo Bay for torture.
