Big Fucking Deal. Fuck Chevron

These bastards and other oil company slime have not only been taking the profits out of these areas for decades, they have been ravaging the environment in them (and all around the world) at the same time.
They OWE a lot more than a few million dollars.

The Community Foundation of Acadiana celebrated Chevron's $4.5 million to area schools at a reception Thursday attended by Chevron North America President Gary Luquette, an Abbeville native.

The donation is part of an $18 million grant Chevron's Energy for Learning program has committed to rebuilding schools in Louisiana and Mississippi after last year's hurricanes.
