Blatant Media Distortion

Gore, who lost narrowly to
President George W. Bush in the 2000 presidential race, was caught in the crossfire between rival Aussie politicians disputing his assertions on climate change in the film.

Gore did not lose. Gore won. The right wing appointed supreme court gave the election to Bush.

By every single count scenario Gore won the vote.
If Katherine Hariss and her criminal gang had been prosecuted for the crimes they committed in Florida Gore's margin of victory would have been much larger that it was.

Yet the lie of Gore's loss goes on and on in the corporate media.
It is a desirable lie, a useful spin, because it prevents people from understanding what really happened and what we are actually dealing with in Bush; A coup d'etat by a gang of fascists using a compliant chimpanzee as a front man.

It isn't that I'm so crazy about Gore, though I infinitely prefer him to Bush. I'm simply tired of these great big lies that get codified as truth because the media, which is run by the same corporate interest who run the government, said so.
