Israel Escalates Attack on Lebanon, Also Gaza

Every right wing sleaze, neo-con and Zionist loony CNN can drag out of moth balls has appeared on camera today saying this conflict was provoked by Hamas and Hezbollah, also talking as though these events have come suddenly out of nowhere, even though they all know damn well what Israel has been doing in Gaza since the election of Hamas.

Hamas and Hezbollah are both responses to ineffective government, government that couldn't protect its people from Israeli aggression.
No one ever talks about that. In the American media they are just militant, terrorists jihadist.

Just like Iraqis who want the Bush Intruders out of their country are militant insurgents enthralled to Zarqawi, though now they are saying Saddam's people are causing the problem!

The US government will claim anything, the bunch of liars.

The government of Lebanon has practically begged for the US to call off their homicidal Israeli terrier, but Bush is too busy telling pig jokes in Germany and getting driven around in a golf cart by Putin, who does his own driving, by god, and also put chimp mouth in his place with his comments amount Iraqi democracy.

    [...]
The death toll in the four-day-old conflict rose above 100 in Lebanon, and stood at 15 in Israel.
    [...]
Yeah, Hezbollah has achieved military parity with Israel. Sure.

All of it is taken out of context, reported to portray Israel as the victim when Israel is the aggressor.
Each CNN reporter begins their account of the current violence with the kidnapping of Corporal Gilad Shalit and neglects to mention the routine kidnappings, the abduction from their homes of Palestinian civilians or other salient facts.

PRESENTING THIS AS AN ISOLATED hostage-taking incident ignores Israel's regular snatching of Palestinians from their homes. Thousands are held in administrative detention without trial, women and children amongst them. A doctor and his brother civilians were kidnapped from their home in Al Shouka, near Rafah, the day before Corporal Shalit was captured. Like him, they need to be returned to their families in the established practice of prisoner exchange. And all elected MPs, punitively imprisoned by Israel in recent days, must be immediately released.
