DeLay is Gone, But DeLayism Continues

House rules currently prevent a member of Congress from using campaign funds for legal defense. Now that he has resigned, DeLay can use the funds to defend himself.

Oh, so he was committing fraud. He stayed in the congressional race this long to collect money to defend his criminal behavior.
Good lawyers are expensive.
