    The state of today

Bush is a moron tyrant and the people who make his decisions are sociopath tyrants. These people are thoroughly undemocratic and completely unethical, including illustrious GOP members who rope in "values" voters, such as closeted homophobe hypocritical religious loon Ted "Methæ Haggard.

These people commit murder, genocide and assassination with the same great ease with which they lie, cheat, steal, overthrow governments, disembowel the Constitution and conduct the relentless class war that has been rolling full steam ahead for the last 26 years.

The war on terror - I cringe ever time I hear the moron say the words - is nothing but perception management to get the public's eyes away from the ruling elite attack on the poor and on the middle class American way of life as we experienced it post WWII, up until the time Ray-Gun was installed (with the help of Poppy Bush and traitorous deals with Iranians).

I do believe there is a terrorist threat, of course, but not the one they promote, and they are certainly not addressing the real issues that create terrorism, not at any level.

Even with the supposed failure of this administration they have accomplished their goals; The pentagon budget - the disclosed part - is now half a trillion dollars a year. Who knows how much is secretly spent? More and more government functions, including military ones, are privatized, lining corporation pockets with tax payer dollars while removing accountability.
The oil rich Iraqi economy is under the Bremer orders, so privatized for the benefit of the international business community.
Civil rights are disappearing every day in the US.
Middle class economic expectations are a thing of the past.
There is widespread voter supppression, confusion about issues, political disenfranchisement.

The Bush crowd doesn't give a fat fuck about America.
They are out only for themselves and as China moves up and the EU moves in, usurping America as a great world economic power, and the world begins to trade in Euros instead of dollars, the ruling class will do well while the rest of us can go to hell. They are making sure of it now.

I don't really grasp how so few Americans get what's happening. I blame the corporate media a lot, but it is no single reason.

I spent the weekend reviewing documentaries - Why We Fight, The Green Bus Versus the White House (about Paul Wellstone), the Corporation, and began Dawkin's new book, the God Delusion.
I've seen all those films before, but the upcoming election and how much it will be tampered with are worrying me so much I had to steep myself in this material to stay balanced over the weekend.

I also saw Hacking Democracy. I was shocked that HBO put such a film on. I was aware of the infmation becasue I've followe dthe lectin fraud and privatization of voting for several years already, but putting it on HBO makes sure it'll reach many more people.
