James Carville, Lex Luther of the Democratic Party, Does not value Progressive Ideas and has no Principles

I'm tired of Carville and the Clintons doing everything they can to tilt the democratic party even further right than it already is.

Why do we need two parties - and two parties only, if the democrats can help it - who represent corporate interests and screw the public on behalf of corporate profit?

The post election analysis, as sported by the corporate media on TV, is so absurd I have to laugh at it. One after another the pundits insist democrats can only be elected if they are right wing. What a load of crap.

A majority of the electorate would've voted for a rattle snake if there had been a D after its name.

Sadly, many people do not grasp the issues very well (THANKS, CORPORATE MEDIA!), nor do they especially know what the candidate actually supports. They did not vote for democrats because they were conservative. They voted for them because they were democrats. They don't realize (yet) right wing corporatists run both parties.

This election was a referendum on conservatism. Conservative leaders know it which is why they are spinning it furiously in another direction, claiming it isn't a referendum on conservatism but on Bush and the neocons and the war.

Of course if they thought that they needed to speak out about Bush's governance 5 years ago, but they didn't speak it because they didn't think it. They think big tax cuts for millionaires are what we need to make a healthy society.
    They think ME FIRST.
They think "How can I exploit religious hysterics and closeted homosexuals to get political power?"

One of the big factors in democrat success was the high turn out in youth vote. 10 million plus 18 to 29 years olds came out.
Yeah, now there's a group that's just inherently conservative.

The election was a response to Iraq, Katrina, gas prices, increased taxes on the middle class and poor in the form of user fees, soaring tuition, property taxes, communication and other taxes, health care cuts, rising costs for everything, less buying power for your dollars, corruption, hypocrisy, failure to address environmental issues and the way the conservatives have manged it all. People are unhappy about the manner in which these thing play in their lives.

Americans want legal abortion and national health care and their jobs not to be outsourced, not more conservative democrats. And if democrats are to make gains they better grasp that and shut James Carville up.
I don't know anyone who doesn't find him completely repulsive.
And in a different era he'd have spent his life selling snake oil from the back of a covered wagon, getting tarred and feathered at the end of the day.
