IDF commander: We fired more than a million cluster bombs in Lebanon

"What we did was insane and monstrous, we covered entire towns in cluster bombs," the head of an IDF rocket unit in Lebanon said regarding the use of cluster bombs and phosphorous shells during the war.

Of course, when I say the same thing on my blog I get long, nasty letters calling me antisemitic and calling Arabs towel heads who deserve to die.

Perhap the same folks will mail similarletters to the IDF commander who has been fighting for his country.

Any criticism of Israel's policies is immediately met with the screaming charge of anti semitism. It's utter bullshit, of course, just like it is utter bullshit that criticism of the Bush Cheney cabal aids and abets terrorism.
