Bush: Iraq has 'nothing' to do with 9/11

Ken Herman, Cox News: "What did Iraq have to do with the attack on the World Trade Center?"
    Bush: "Nothing."

Bush then quickly tries to recover by saying that Iraq is part of the War on Terror, but in his response he undermines himself further:

"I have suggested however, that resentment and the lack of hope create the breeding grounds for terrorists who are willing to use suiciders to kill... I have made that case."

Ok, so you're finally smart enough to "make the case" that resentment breeds terrorists. Hello, is the occupation of Iraq not creating a breeding ground for resentment and hence, terrorists.

    Let's do the math.

    Chicago Tribune reports:

"An average of more than 110 Iraqis were killed each day in July... The total number of civilian deaths that month, 3,438, is… nearly double the toll of January."

    UPI reports:

"The rate at which U.S. soldiers are being killed per day in Iraq has now been steadily rising for almost eight weeks."

If only Bush could understand what he says!
