World oil prices fall further from record levels \LONDON (AFP) - Oil prices have slipped from last week's record peaks, on profit-taking caused by easing concerns over Iran.
New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in August, dropped by 84 cents to 73.25 dollars per barrel in pit trading on Monday.
The contract had hit a historic 75.78 dollars last Friday owing to simmering geopolitical tensions, particularly over Iran and North Korea.
