When Oil profit belongs to the public

In March, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said dozens of Guatemalans were among the first to benefit from the program, to be followed by 100 Central Americans in the month to receive eye operations including cataract treatment.
This is why Pat Robertson and BushCo want Chavez deposed or dead. They disapprove of this kind of expenditure.
Profit from oil should be used to add wealth to stuffed pockets of major stockholders- the ownership society of which George Monkey Lips Bush speaks so lovingly - and toss a few coins to small investors and mutual fund holders, so they shut the fuck up about the emerging corporatist police state in amerikkka, and praise capitalism and free markets, hallelujah, with no recognition that this market place is far from free and has no competition whatsoever.
You can see why protestant evangelicalism, with its emphasis on wealth and authoritarianism, is so useful to the right wing extremists who constitute the empowered bulk of the ownership society.
No Calvinist would ever suggest profit be spent to improve life for the poor, as the poor are unfit in god's eyes and lacking his mighty phallic shower of grace, or they wouldn't be poor, let alone have trouble seeing
