Democrats push to end tax breaks for oil companies

How about we just bill them for the invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, since these actions were undertaken to increase oil company profit and bolster oil company control of the world economy?

Why should tax payers have to pay to enrich oil companies? What have oil companies done for tax payers, other than pollute and destroy their environments, price gouge them, corrupt their government officials, etc?

And then, after they pay the country back the trillion dollars the Iraq debacle is costing, they can pay to rebuild New Orleans as a courtesy, and in lieu of the public flogging they ought to get.
