Shell optimistic on recovery of Nigeria's oil production

The company evacuated EA following attacks by ethnic rebel group the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta. The attacks cut Nigeria's crude oil production by as much as 640 000 barrels a day, out of a total 2,4 million-barrels per day.

Ah yes, I'm sure Shell has been reassured that the government thugs will violently put down any protests and kill any agitators asking that the profit from oil extraction be put back into their country and communities, and that shell not dump too many toxic chemicals into their blood streams and lungs.
Don't forget the murdered Ken Saro Wiwa died for Chevron and Shell's freedom to extract and pollute.
