Scientist links global warming, famine

Sir David King said in an interview with the BBC that atmospheric carbon dioxide is likely to rise to twice its pre-industrial level, causing an increase in global temperature of 3 degrees Celsius, The Times of London reported. As many as 400 million people would be at risk of starvation because of the loss of cereal crops, he said.
