New Orleans Mayoral Candidates Stump on TV
A friend of mine who is a labor organizer recently had to do some business sin New Orleans where he was forced to sit through long meetings with Ray Nagin and others. His comment in summation of the Nagin experience was, "He ought to be hung by his toes"
Mayor Ray Nagin, who is seeking a second term, reminded the audience that the April 22 primary comes just weeks before the start of the next hurricane season.
"Do you want experienced leadership that is tried and tested? Or do you want to experiment at this important time in our city's history?" he asked, drawing applause and cheers in Houston, where about 100 evacuees watched from an auditorium at Texas Southern University.
Ironic that this jerk, who presented no leadership whatsoever during the Katrina crisis is now promoting his campaign based on his disasterleadership experience.
