WalMart to build "in store Health clinics" for employees
Unbelievable. In store health clinics that provide WHAT services and at how much cost? And staffed by who? Barefoot doctors from China? These people are outrageous. In store health clinics. You can bet that will be some real quality health care.
Wal-Mart critics say the company, which employs 1.3 million, spends so little on healthcare that states often end up subsidizing Wal-Mart workers' medical care.
Friday, Ohio released records showing that last year more than 12,000 Wal-Mart workers and dependents got $27.7 million from Medicaid, more than any other company.
Thursday, Wal-Mart announced it would expand coverage for employees and build more than 50 in-store clinics to offer customers and workers medical services for $45 to $65.
